Oetgen, M.D., P.C. 647 First Street Alexandria, Virginia 22314 Dear Dr. Oetgen, I am compelled to write and tell you that your Medical Case Review for the patient Terry Seaman is in gross error and is totally wrong. You state in your letter that a "large renal cell carcinoma was removed." That is so wrong. The Pathology Report states that the final diagnosis was Oncocytoma which is the most common benign solid renal tumor. Carcinoma is cancer. Oncocytoma is benign and is NOT cancer. It appears to me that the remainder of your report is also erroneous and that you didn’t even read the medical records. I am attaching a copy of your letter along with a copy of the Pathology Report and definitions of Carcinoma and Oncocytoma so that you will know for your future medical case reviews. Sincerely,
Terry N. Seaman Enclosures |
